Hi All,
I was speaking with the custom maker Frank Recupero, and was interested in having my Random Task dolled up with mokume bolsters and possibly different handle material. He had heard that there was more work involved in the scales than a normal linerlock because of the Speed Safe mechanism. Can someone out there confirm/verify this? I have the knife now, and from what I can see (which doesn't mean much) it doesn't look as though there is anything more than what would be done to the scales of a linerlock. thanks in advance for any help here...
