I'm a big fan of Randy's work and when I saw this thread I knew I needed this knife. I'm also drawn to forged blades, all my fixed blades are forged as are most of the slips. I know of a few makers who do a forged tactical folder but it's rare to see them so jumped all over this one.
3 1/2 forged 1084 blade 3/16 thick (forged by Paul Savage) and 4 1/4 closed. CF bolsters, Grey G10 scales, Ti liners, clip and I beleive the studs are Ti as well.
Ultra smooth action, rock solid lock up. Excellent fit and finish. The clay temper on the blade adds some interest and shows off it's carbon roots. The CF and grey G10 really work well with the darker carbon blade and the temper line. The knife has a very good visual flow in my opinion.
Excellent work Randy and Paul.
