Yup! I had mentioned that the knife was blooded within an hour of its arrival home - was cleaning off blade - that knife is sooo sharp it went through two layers of heavy cotton towel & took a chunk out of my thumb clean when I got careless for a sec - I didn't even know it till I saw the blood on the blade - figured was a good time to take a picture. R. J.'s work is up there with the best of them!!

And the more I handle the knife, the more I like it!

Penguin,

Beautiful knife, I too like the Bat.

I have one of the original 20 Wasabi w/ dragon Menuki and it is the source of many "Ooohs and Aaahhs" from my buddies - even those so who don't carry a knife.

Something about RJ's Japanese blades really brings out the admiration of all onlookers...

Waldo,
They are nice!

Is yours one of the 31/2" models - according to Les mine is the only 6" one in existance so far - the cut-out along the spine is sweeet - it takes a little weight out of the blade & I think gives it a little better balance. I know what you mean about peoples's reactions - it's not like when you pull out a tactical folder.

Happy Holidays!

Bill,

Mine is one of the last of the original 20 Wasabi. The blade length is approx. 5", green rayskin and dragon menuki. Beautiful temper line and gorgeous grinds and polishing. Overall my best deep concealment knife of medium to large blade size.

It is awful easy to get hooked on RJ's knives, huh? I have a #5 Kozuka I use all the time and it is every bit as sharp as when he shipped it due to ease of sharpening the A-2. Talk about cutting like a lazer beam! I find that a strop loaded with polishing compound finishes it off to a razor edge nicely. I am still considering an ultra fine Spydie stone though.

Merry Christmas,

Waldo
