I just spoke with Randy and he sounds great, but pretty tired. Unfortunately, he had a mild stroke this morning and is in the hospital.
He told me that he and his wife Veronica would appreciate a simple thought or prayer from his friends on the forum.

Randy doesn't strike me as a cards and flowers kind of guy, but St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula, MT, has a link for sending Emails to patients.

Back in '02 when I found BFC and posted a "hello, I'm new here" thread, Randy was one of the first to give me a welcome aboard reply. I never forgotten about that. Take care and hurry back here, sir.

Edit - Just out of curiority I went back and looked at my first post. Turns out it was not Randy but Gus that gave me the welcome speech. I just had to post this correction. Does not change in the least the fact that I'm sending good, healthy thoughts to Randy.
