Just thought I'd post this here, a couple of quick shots I took of my Ranger AUCK along with my Savage Mark II in .22LR. The first is wallpaper-sized, as it is in fact my current wallpaper, so just click the thumbnail for the full-size image. I'll try and post a few more tomorrow or the day after.

This is a knife forum but.... I really dig the stock on your rifle.

Did you refinish it ?

That is a great looking user blade. When you Ranger AUCK, I am asuming you are talking about Ranger Knives? Is this correct? The handle looks very similar to the Afghan that Justin has for custom orders. I really like the shape of the blade and the gaurd separating the handle from the choil. Looks like you have put it through its paces. How do you like it? Awesome knife.

Nice Ranger!

I also really like the guard on this one -- did you custom order it, or is it a new model for Justin?

It is definately not a new model from Justin. I too am wondering did you draw it up yourself or did Justin design it. It is a really great design.

Pretty good Bro. Always enjoy coming across Ranger customs that I have not seen before.

Sorry for the delay, guys, I haven't had internet access for a few days. Yep, it's a custom from Ranger Knives, my own design. AUCK stands for Advanced Utility Carry Knife. Justin did a great job of it, stuck exactly to my drawing, which was probably a bit of a headache for him considering my exacting specifications, but it turned out great! Thanks for the compliments on the design; I put a lot of thought into it. I have indeed used it aplenty, in fact I somehow managed to roll the edge a bit just the other day, hacking at a coconut—my fault, not the blade's. :D

It performs quite well, but having had it for several months, there are a few things I'd change on the next version. Mostly just personal preferences that have changed with experience.

Thanks, Ninja.

Just curious. What is it that you would change about it. I have considered having Justin make something similar to this for a while.

Well, again, it's more of a personal thing, but I'd probably drop the thickness down from 3/16 to 5/32, and scrap the finger cutout. It's nice for choking up on the blade, but without it there would be more usable blade. I wouldn't change much else. :D
