Ranger Bands?????

Ranger Bands????

So I have read about them being used for survival tins and for sheath mods. I saw pictures of them and they seem like handy little things that I could find a lot of uses for. The only problem is I have no idea what they are and where to buy them. Or do they need to be homemade. A forum and google search revealed nothing. Help me out. I fear that this may be a stupid question, so please go easy on me.

They're easy to make. Take a bicycle inner tube and cut it into rubber bands.

Yeah x's 2! A bran hammer new innertube at walmart is around $4.97. Makes a bunch!

Stop by a bike shop and ask them; they replace plenty of punctured tubes and they'd rather give them to you than throw them away.
