Here are three I have recently finished. All three are the same model, with one having a 5 1/2" blade, and the other two 7" blades. One of the 7" models has a green and black linen micarta handle and the other two have black linen handles. All are made with S30V steel and have 416 SS bolsters with mosaic pins.

I'm leaning towards Ranger Extreme for the name of this model. It seems to fit.

Enjoy!!:D

If I had one of these knives, I would just sit around all day looking at it and holding it in my hand.

Like the knife very much, hate the name with a burning passion. :-) Extreme and it's idiotic alternate spelling "Xtreme" have become so cliche that I would never consider using them. With a knife like that, you can get away with a much more subtle name or no name at all other than a numerical model designation.

I LOVE those... GREAT design and execution. These will make some people very happy. Care to share the price of one of these bad boys? You can pm or email me if you'd like.

Great knife maker's here on BF and those are top of the line :)

A knife doesn't get any better than those you presented here IMO

That's one big tuff knife! I'd be leaning towards something like "sarge" for a name. Something that implies "big and strong" without the cheesy mall ninja element. (no offence) Keep 'em coming anyhow; if you have any more trouble naming it just send me one and i'll name it for ya. :D

That looks like excellent work, DM
I can see where you get the name from, as this knife exudes a certain confidence and capability. However, I also eschew the exaggerated use of military-oriented naming of knives. "Ranger Extreme" suggests elite performance and "mission orientation", if you will, coupled with capability to handle all tasks. However... so many knives have similar names, I like the idea of picking a slightly subtler name and letting the knife proclaim itself  Of course, it IS your knife, after all...
