Ranger Grind help?

I just bought a Ranger and need little help. It looks like a convex grind, but not as pronounced as some of my other knives.

I use a sharpmaker for just about all the flat grind knives I have.

Would it be a bad idea to just use my sharpmaker on this Ranger??

No need for it, trust me. 5160 is low alloy carbon steel and as such it is extremly easy to sharpen.

yeah, but I wanted one anyway, and it'll make stuff faster. I'll be dropping the edge angle and removing a decent amount of metal on this and a few other knives. Using sandpaper for that was too much hassle-tearing sheets too often.
