Hello: I bought a blade from ebay to restore, the stacked leather handle was mostly gone. The blade is marked Ranger with the patent number 1,967,479 under it, which is the western knife co. patent for the bifuracated tang. Does anyone know anything about this blade? Thanks TCassidy: :

You need to provide pictures.
To do that as a registered user, you have to upload them to a web hosting site, such as photobucket. Once uploaded, copy the web address (photobucket calls that the "direct link") and paste it into your post. Then wrap it in BBS code like this:
