Ranger Knives From Busse Blanks?

Forgive me if this question belongs in another forum, but I was looking at the Ranger Knives offered by Sage Creek Outfitters and the RD 7 and RD 9 knives look a lot like the Ergo Steel Heart and Battle Mistress blades. I've heard rumors that Justin acquired some blades from Jerry and was wondering if anyone could confirm if that's true or is he just using a similar design. Also, if it is true does anyone know if these knives are INFI or older ones made of A2. Thanks in advance.

I own a couple of Justin's (Ranger knives) customs and the heat treat is not done by Busse, also I believe only the first batch of 5160 blanks were from Busse. There is an agreement between Jerry and Justin on the design but I don't know any of the particulars about that.

Justin has his blades professionally heat treated by a company that specializes in that sort of thing.
