So I picked up two great knives in a trade, a Buck Hoodlum and a Night Stalker 9. Well at first the Hoodlum showed up the NS9 pretty easily with a whip like lightness and longer blade but then something funny happened.
I decided that since this is the second Ranger 9 I have had, it was time to make a couple mods for useability.
I will be going for a 5 day camp out starting tomorrow so I will load this thread up with pictures after testing the knife thoroughly...
Mods are very conservative, fire notch on the spine, added jimping and sanding down the micarta to fit MY hand and take down some of the hotspots.
Will give the full monty on Monday!
