Ranger pace bead knife lanyard variation

I did this lanyard with the intent that the attachement loop be gutted paracord, but the rest of the strands be full cord like my typical ranger beads. I tried to think of the best and most secure way to knot this. Here is what I came up with, but to any knotheads out there if you can think of another please let me know!

First, I did a lanyard knot (two strand diamond) with the gutted black cord. Second, I doubled it with regular OD paracord, with both strands coming out of the bottome. Third, I did another two strand diamond with the gutted black; then doubled it with regular black. I cut and burned the gutted black ends and proceeded with the side by side beads configuration with the four full strands. Any better ideas???

That is really nice but seems like a lot of work over buying some ranger beads. A lot more pride of ownership tho.

Most ranger bead sets that run $4-$5 slide on their own, split in extreme cold, clank and make noise etc. its more work, but worth it - silent, "indestructable", firm tension. I started with store bought and found them lacking, big time. Plus, I enjoy this hobby!

Definitely nice work and a good idea being able to make rather intricate gear by hand.
