Hey all.

Which would you buy if you had the choice?

Scrap yard Scrapper 6

Or

a Ranger RD 6

Or

Something else... You provide the something else.

What kind of edge to each have from the factory?

How do the two two compare as far as toughness?

Who makes the better sheath?

got the scrapper 6. its a solid knife. handle is comfortable for my big hands. haven't gotten away to abuse it yet but im sure it will stand up to any abuse. I was kinda disappointed that the sheath was extra but its nice and worth the 20 bucks or so.
waiting on a RD 9 to come in I've done my research on the ranger knives and they are solid also can't wait to try them out.

either would be a good purchase, both would be a better.

SRKW M6 would be best for the money.

I have had several Rangers and Swamp Rats and don't get me wrong I love both, but the 52100 steel in the Rats holds its edge way better than 5160.
