Nice work, you need to pay and upgrade your membership to attach pictures on Bladeforums.

I have not used the RD series yet, but have used the knives the designed is based on which are the older straight handle Busse blades, and have used a lot of 5160 knives, mainly larger blades. That is a solid combination and it is evolving well as Justin works with his customers. It will be interesting to see where it is in a few years.

Actually it is almost a mix of the old straight handles crossed with the E-handles Blade design, drop point.

The origionals were drop point, the Steel Heart which started it, the Battle Mistress which came later had a really shallow clip, pretty much traditional tanto, point was almost in line with the spine. There was a huge debate years ago on Knifeforms (before Bladeforums existed) about the chopping ability of the ATAK from McClung vs the Busse Combat Steel Heart, Earl Stewart heavily promoted the chopping ability of the ATAK, someone later posted a picture of the two knives side by side - the debate ended. The origional 5/16" Steel Heart just dwarfed the ATAK.
