After lurking around for a while... I decided last year to give a shot to Himalayan Imports.
The service was (and always is) impeccable. The products are awesome and Auntie ships faster than lightning.

In January, I tried to buy from a "competitor" who sounds like Terra Bytes except it's much smaller in capacity. 5 Months later the product I paid in full is still nowhere to be seen. :thumbdn:

Since then, I bought, received and enjoy many other great Hi blades.

Thank you Auntie and crew for sourcing such great products to us Northerners. :thumbup::thumbup:

And the uber nice forum community also add extra value to the whole customer experience :-)
 
Yeah, I was purchasing some makeup that I can't get locally off the ubiquitous shopping site starting with an A, that was supposedly in stock at the seller I selected. They did not offer prime for that seller but I bought it anyways (and paid shipping costs almost equal to Auntie's for a very small light package comparably). 3 weeks later I ordered my first HI Khuk. Aunties triangle box showed up 3 days later, then a second order and triangle box as quick as can be. Average of 1 day out on her end to the post office, 1 day transit north across the US, 1 day for delivery to my doorstep. 3 times this happened with a few days in between my orders as I missed out on DotDs being too slow. Then finally limping in a beat up torn box of makeup. 7 weeks after I ordered an "in stock" item. Now if you order a custom made Khuk, that is different, I can understand that takes time and should and I would be prepared for the wait. But even the one time I thought it took 5 whole days (Sunday not included as we don't have delivery that day) it actually only took 4, the postal driver delivered it to my husband who forgot and left it in the garage. Yep. Great, quick, super customer service, awesome knives, incredible warranty from what I hear, haven't needed such myself and doubt I ever will with the quality of the blades I have in hand, and a fun forum community full of very nice, knowledgable and interesting characters (yes Bawanna definately you in that) to learn more and discuss my newest addiction. What more could anyone want? Very happy day when I stumbled upon this corner of BladeForums, so glad I found them instead of winding up at the other Khuk place. Nothing against them, I am sure they are good solid works but their blades just don't have the same voice speaking to me these do.
 
I have seen a lot of khukuris and HI has the best quality and an earned reputation for quality and service. I am also very impressed by what their social responsibility in terms of helping their kamis and their families.

HI is a top notch in my book which is why I customize and restore their blades.
