Hi Guys,
Does anyone know anything about RAP/Roger Alistair Parsons from Georgia or his knives?
I've really only ever been into factory-made folders before, but I recently inherited a custom knife from my father-in-law and I'm trying to find out more about it. I know it was made by Roger Parsons in about 1982 and is labeled #344-4, but not much beyond that Mr Parsons or his knives. Anyone know anything that might be useful or interesting?

That listing actually does give me a little more information than I had before, so that's something- thanks! (Also, my sheath looks almost exactly like the one in the picture, I just didn't think to include it in the photos)

Hi, just joined this forum when I saw this post. Roger Parsons was indeed from Brunswick, GA. He made a knife for me in the 80s I think. He was as good as they come, did excellent work, my understanding is that he didn't care anything about making a big name for himself, just wanted to make knives. I made a wood model of what I wanted (Loveless style drop point hunter) stag handles, CPM 154, lanyard hole. It is perfect. Leather sheath also which I believe his wife made. I'll be taking the knife deer hunting tomorrow, as always. I was going to get Mr. Parsons to make more knives for me, but he developed arthritis in his hands and had to stop grinding knives. I believe he is deceased now. He was as good as anybody.

Although I stated CPM 154, it may have been 154 CM. I'm not an expert on these steels and don't know the dates when these steels were available, and don't remember the date that Mr. Parsons built the knife for me. Thanks
