I do a lot of fishing and filleting. Ive had more expensive knives but the Rapala is my favorite. The blades are just more flexible than anything else Ive tried. I just bought a Browning fillet knife with 440 steel, from Bass Pro, made in China. The blade isnt even straight. The little Rapala with the 4 inch blade is a handy kitchen knife also.

My parents bought one in the 60's. Still works good.

I have a fillet knife that I use all the time in the kitchen. I had a Rapala knife but lost it long ago. The one I have now has a black plastic handle and says China on the blade and it holds a good edge and is pliable too. I don't remember where I got it or how much I paid for it.
