Rapid Deployment Knives
We are going to be adding a fun new addition to Operation Rolling Thunder. Over the course of the year we typically end up with a few blades that become available due to requested changes or circumstances after the knife has already been made. Sometimes it is an unexpected expense that the customer who ordered it didn't see coming. Other times it is a change to the knife itself, such as a change in coating or handle material. These finished knives generally hang out here waiting for the next time we offer grab bags.
We are going to try a different approach with some of these blades. Instead of waiting for grab bags, we will offer some of these up as Rapid Deployment Knives. Rapid Deployment Knives are finished and ready to go. No waiting for the knife to be made. The knife can ship as soon as the next business day after payment is received. Some of these blades will be models that are currently available. So, if you don't want the finish that is on the Rapid Deployment blade you still have the option to order it in whatever finish and handle you want. Some of these may be from a previous run that is no longer available to order. These blades will show up in the shopping cart with the designation Rapid Deployment in the description.
This should be fun and will give some folks a chance to get their hands on a blade much more quickly as opposed to placing an order and waiting for the knife to be finished.
