Tinker was making rapier blades, not entire rapiers. It was also in the days of yore and not contemporary to his work today.

Michael "Tinker" Pearce is one to avoid if in a hurry and even as a planned commission. At the period when this thread started, many were waiting for their orders to be completed and Tink basically defaulted..He is not doing so well right now but you might contact him oif serious (and patient).
For the best dollar value and in looking at standard offerings,
www.armor.com is still the best bet for lasting value and peformance. Many fence and enjoy the Hanwei products.
Ironically (or not) Tinker has had a collaboration with HAnwei in prototyping some medieval and viking types.
Darkwood Armory might be of interest

Baltimore Knife & Sword (various pages found via Google) offers rapiers but usually uses other's blades. These are generally of the stage and fencing circle of swords and not necessarily true to history. Again, not a quick and easy unless in stock.

A step across the hall from HAnwei
I actually have a dandy of a little rapier from Museum Replicas that was one of a dozen madee for a movie, then unused. Cute little bugger with a fluted horn grip. It even handles quite well.
Cheers
