For all you Spyderco fans....
Spyderco the FIRST Generation FRN Delica and Endura C10 and C11 Collector Numbered 20 Spyderco Knives.
These are BRAND NEW in the BOX knives from my safe!
These knives were from the first run of Delica and Endura that spyderco made sometime in the 1990s. I don't really know the dates and all on these, but the story goes....
I got these in about 2002 from a music store worker that lived near the Golden Colorado factory. Spyderco workers would come in and trade knives for music stuff and the worker ended up with these two Endura and Delica numbered FRN models. I got plenty of other stuff from him like the Evolution Set, Bone handle Jess Horn so this was the real deal. He had them stored for years, so who knows how old they are... I've kept them hidden away until now. I'd like something else, so I'll pass these on to another Spyderco Collector. ONE OF MY MOST PRIZED AND OLD SETS!!!!
Differences in these models I note:
These blades are not stamped with the steel, but G-2 was the steel of that time.
The clips on these first run models are slim compared to the Generation 2, with the thick FRN clip. I think the clip went to steel in Gen3 and 4.
Comes in original small black box with just "Japan" on the end...no other marking. (both original boxes included)
Hand written C11 and C10 #20 red circle stickers probably from a Spyderco employee.
The serrations on these are not as "pointy" as later versions, but the things are sharp and factory edged.
Never Carried, Sharpened or Used
Remeber these are early production knives and not just ordinary models!
These knives are really part of Spyderco History as I heard Sal himself say (in summary...the Delica and Endura were the staple of the Spyderco line and top sellers of any other model).
ASKING 150$ shipped CONUS. Insurance on you if wanted
