A local knife shop has a Bark River "Gold Wolf Hunter" limited edition knife (that is what the origional box reads as i wrote it down). NIB. It has Brown Elder handle, and the wolf etched into the blade is 18k gold. It looks really nice and i want to buy it but cant find any info on google on this model so i dont know if the $240. he is asking is a good deal, average, or ripoff. It also comes with original leather case and this knife is stamped "Bark River, MI" so I know from google search that this knife is old from the original workshop on the Bark River site. Thx for any additional help!

If you email Bark River they will get back to you. DLT trading Company works closely with Bark River and will also answer Bark River questions.

I had one of these knives. Mine was in white or antique Ivory micarta. I never was sure which. They sure are beautiful. Too pretty to use so I sold mine. They are definitely rare though. $240 could buy you two nice barkies off the forums but if you are a collector and you have the extra dough go for it. Aside from mine I had never seen/heard about another one until I read this post. I kind of regret passing mine along but it never would have gotten used. Here's a pic of the one I had.
