Does anybody know anything about a Benchmade923s-01. The blade had Taurus(as in the fun company) printed on the front. Benchmade logo ok the back and then it. Says "first production 2003, 1 0f 1000". Worth on the knife?

As I understand this, the question of value cannot be asked unless you're a Gold member. What you should know is the knife is worth less than if it had a plain edged blade (If it was offered that way)...and on the numbering, the 1 of 1000 doesn't mean that knife is #1...that upset a whole lot of buyers and forced Benchmade to change the numbering system...every one of those was marked 1 of 1000. And yes, the knife, and every other are worth more if owned with the original box.

...and nice to see you over here Big D., I hope your family is holding up, I am still sending prayers over there.

Thankyou man I appreciate the support, and yes I have the original box with it and it is serrated and slightly used. More carried than anything.

A) you need to be a paying member to ask about worth/value of a knife.

B) The Switchback wasn't a very popular model, as it didn't last very long in the line-up.

This Benchmade isn't really rare. It is just one of the first 1000 made. That's their first production run. They made more than 1000.
