Rare Benchmade 330

Here's a catalog from 1998 that has a little info about the 330 (page 7). https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1wNjWTmrQh0X3ZudVFLZzR0cXc/view
I'm pretty sure there was several different variations of that knife made, so I don't know which specific one you have. I have one that was part of the Knife of the Month series, it's just titanium slabs without the g-10 scales. I believe it's identical to the 335 Big Spender, but the model number was 330-12/00. And I'd assume the signature is something someone had done by Mr. Pardue at one of the big knife shows.

I've had a few of those and they remain one of my favorite knives. They were made in ATS-34 and 154CM. Most had G10 scales, but I had a second hand one that had carbon fiber scales (may have been custom but I don't think so). Had straight and serrated edges. I remember an ad that showed this knife placed over a dollar bill to show it's small size. Pretty awesome little blade- I would still be carrying it if I hadn't lost it and could find a replacement.

Corey -Thanks for the link to the old school catalog offerings. Just how many of us have those Benchmade classics, I wonder. My first model from the factory was a 710HS, with many more as the years rolled on. No regrets either, money well spent.
