You don't see these everyday! In fact I had never seen one until I bought this one from Doug. It is a vintage Benchmade model 68 Bali-Song, 3.37" blade. All the model 68's I had ever seen were PCC. The 68 features a utility blade profile and stainless steel handles.

This one is in very good condition. It has some minor scratches on the handles. It flips well. The handles have a little play but not too much. The tang pin is smushed to allow for latching in the open and closed position. This adjustment to the the tang pin is often done at the factory. It latches tight in the open and closed position. The blade is flawless and sharp, and still has the original factory edge.

$135 shipped CONUS.

Still for sale

excellent deal George. I just found the "BM68" blue box and paperwork I received with that knife way back when I purchased it. If the new owner is interested, I will donate it to the lucky new owner for shipping costs only. Good luck on your sale George, hope this helps... :)

My first and best bali was a PC model 10 or 35, the util blade, but with the exposed rivets. It flew better than any Ti handle I have ever tried, back when I was young, stupid and a lot more dextrous than now!

Great score!

Sold to John, thanks John! Doug, PM sent

Great news George, what's Johns screen name? Since it is now sold, have the lucky new owner contact me with his info if he is indeed interested, and i'll ship his box out direct.
If John is not interested, then i'll be keeping it as a back-up box for my other BM68. Hope this helps out the lucky new owner. :)
