Is it true that the book "The Filipino Martial Arts" by Dan Inosanto is out of print and worth some money?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Yes, it is out of print and worth money only to those willing to pay it. I have seen copies on Ebay go anywhere from $50.00 up to $150.00.

It took me 4 years to fianlly get one, after 2 SNAFU's and one I missed a gun show in NEW condition that a friend of mine picked up for $9!! Yes, NINE dollars!!

But yes they've been out of print for about 6 years now. Even Guro Dan, himself doesn't have any extranous copies. (I know, I've tried!)

If you can find one for $50 buck or less grab it! I ended up paying a bit more for mine, in the end. Worth it tho!

Good Luck!

I´ll probably get flames for it, but there´s a scanned version of the whole book circulating on the web. If someone is comfortable with the idea of stealing Dan Inosanto´s intellectual property, it is easily possible.
And I am NOT implying this. You could maybe ask Mr Inosanto if it´s ok to use the scans, or offer some compensation, but as far as I know one of the reasons the book is out of print is that Mr Inosanto feels parts of it are outdated or not exactly how they should be.
