Hey Guy's, can any of you tell me what's the rarest of the Custom CQC'S that Ernie make's ?? I'm under the impression it was the CQC9 Eagle, although i could be wrong !! Thank you in advance !!

Take Care, Mario C.:D

I would have to agree with BLADELAW, while there have been a couple of CQC-9s up for sale recently, I have never seen a Rhino for sale, while belonging to the forums

Other knives to consider are the:

Stealth....5 Made

Viper 4...Hands down the rarest of the Viper/CQC line of folders.

Then there are the knives with the "Bowie" logo on them, approximately 17 made.

Hey Les, did you get my last E-Mail, actually my last 2 ??

Thank's and Take Care, Mario C.:D

Hey Guy's, like alway's thank you for the responses !! Can anyone tell me how the CQC9 AKA-Eagle rank's ?? I was told from Ernie that he doesn't make them that often, and although he's had 30+ custom's at the show's lately, i heard he still only bring's 2-3 Eagle's with him !!

Thank's Again Guy's, Mario C.:D

If you want to extend this to cover fixed blades then the "nameless" Specwar Fixed blade made for the Seal trials has to be up there. 3 blanks made by Ernie, one for made up in the late '90s - the other two turn up at a knife show this year.

Regards,

Ed

As far as CQC models go I would have to say that the CQC-9 is probably the rarest. Ernie did have several for sale at the New York show and there have been some other newer nines for sale recently which up's the count.
Still I would bet that these are the rarest of the CQC models, special varients notwithstanding.
If you want to get into the truly esoteric Emerson models then the Stealth is probably the least often seen folder model that Ernie ever made. The Rhino and the earlier pretactical models inspired by Michael Walker are very rare as well.
Then of course there are the varients such as the right hand grind right hand CQC-6, the rachet sixes, the protoype sixes, etc.
