Calling on Busse Old Timers. What exactly do I have here? Is it an elusive '1/300'? A2 or INFI? When was it released? Current value? I only started on my Busse journey in 2005 and missed these babies. Evidently the smooth-bolt models were A2 (I have an old Busse brochure attesting to this), but I have no information on the slotted-bolt models. Nicest in the hand by far, between it, the BM-E, and the standard and magnum slabbed FBM's. I really appreciate all input and education!

Nice score! Any good story there?

AFAIK, all SHBM were INFI. The INFI dimples can be seen on the ricasso. I don't know if that's a 1/300, you'll need a more expert eye than mine. The groove pattern looks different than other straight grooves, but there was a lot of variability back then.

Value? I'll give you $597. :D

There were no A2 SHBMs. It's INFI.

My error in my first post, referring to A2 steel. The brochure I'm referring to only shows the SHII, BA, MS, AK (all with smooth bolts) and Combat Recruit out of A-2 steel. I guess the BM hit the market later. Thanks for all the feedback, folks.

1 of 300 BM in very good, used condition. I think a couple went recently (past few months) for about $1100 each on the exchange, nice score.

I would love to know where you found that as well. Was it a garage sale, from a friend, stolen from your neighbor?

Inquiring minds want to know..........

I though all the early Busse's were made out of Studebaker bumpers ??????
