I was visiting a local dealer 20 or so years ago and I liked the simplicity of this knife so I bought it. In all this time I haven't carried it or used it for anything and it has been sitting in a drawer so, to free up funds for a custom, I think I'm going to sell it. I knew very little about the knife then and know about the same now. Knife has a single blade just over 3", sambar stag scales and what I believe are "German silver" bolsters but could also be brass. I have searched the internet and have not found another exactly like it but the closest I found was called a 16300 Lockback Hunter that is for sale at $200 so I figure $150 is more than a fair price for this one.

The condition is exactly as new however the fit and finish from the maker, while beautiful, is not 100% perfect. Maybe a less discerning eye wouldn't find fault but I am very picky.

So, $130 o.b.o. and I pay insured shipping to CONUS. Arrangements can be made for elsewhere.

The blade reads:

Hochleistungsstahl, Geschmiedet, 4109 Rostfrei

Hubertus, Solingen, Rostrei, W. Germany

From the above markings I learned that this is dropped forged high performance steel.

Thanks and feel free to chime in if you know more about this blade than I do.
