Rare Kershaw?

I ocassionally carry a Kershaw Leek 1660CGTST. I ordered it because I was curious about
s30v steel. I recently found out only 128 were made. I really do not want to use a knife that has such limited distrubution if it may have some value. I am not a collector and have no interest in holding on to it for years in the hope it's value increases.
This knife is in extremely good condition. Never sharpened, perfect tip, etc. Does it have value or should it become an EDC? Advice appreciated.

That is exactly what is. Kershaw made only 128 of them. Hence my question. Does 128 make it rare or should it be an EDC?

It's worth about what it originally cost. It may or may not go up in value. If it does, it won't be a substantial amount.

My advice, if you like using it, use it.

EDIT: Listen to Thomas. He knows a little more then I do. :o :D

It's rare, and I'm sure there are Kershaw collectors, and specifically Leek collectors that would find this piece an excellent find. Personally I think a NIB 1660CGTST could fetch upwards close to $200 to the right person.

and you should not use it, I agree with what Thomas said, there are several of us that might need to own one, it should be a safe queen for sure.
