So the guy I got this from said it was found when they tore up the floorboards looking for the money in the Closed Schrade factory! Could it be that ISC thought about making portable kitchen cutlery at one time? Portable cutlery, not portable kitchens that is. Anyway, when they found this,the guy holding the knife didn't look too good, but sold it to the guy who sold it to me for two big Macs!
I can't disclose how much I paid, but it was approximately a second mortgage!
It works real good lifting poached eggs, and snaps like a junkyard dog!
My questions to all you Schrade experts are; when do you think it was made, and how much do you think it's worth???

aaaahhhhh!!! the elusive egg-knife!!! its worth more than u paid for sure!!! there probaly isnt but 3 in the world! u have one, bill gates has one, and the emperor of azkaban has the other!!! i would say it was made in the 1950's-60's. believe i seen mrs. cleaver with one on "leave it to beaver" or was it aunt b?? i will make a $1,000,000 offer right now!!! just let me fly u in my personal jet to my secluded castle in australia. u can stay in the cabin out back with elvis and bigfoot!! lol!!!

It was probably made by Taylor & artificially aged and planted in the old factory to be "discovered" in time for the release of their new line of Folding Kitchen Cutlery.:D :D :D

Good luck at the flea markets, but $1,000,000 isn't enough. You must throw in your best pick-up truck!!
 
What kind of pockets do you need to make that a carrying knife??
