With all the recent SHBA interest, I thought I would post a couple of pictures of these two rare ones. A SHBA variant with teeth and one with the BUSSE logo on the spine, try and find either of these!

You are most Welcome.

I like the Back Logo best when you show all three.

I am keeping my eye out for one of the Two bolt Handle fastener top ground early Badgers.

The only picture even that I have seen was on this forum, in an old Busse Ad.

Here are a couple Rare ones

One is the Back Logo shown above, the other is the Very First Busse knife ever to use the Hole type of Handle Fastener, note the shape of the Handle, it is the only Badger with this shape of handle ever made.

Andre, the handle shape of that SHBA is very nice:eek:

That is a cool SHBA Andre, you have all the cool stuff!

Great pics Ducci & Andre.
Thanks for sharing.
Now I know who to beg for my next SHBA. :D

Really, really nice.

Randucci,

I do not have all the cool stuff, I keep selling it off to you.

Real collectors like you, continue to make the effort to gather together the very best stuff.

There are some where between several and lots of people the have more and Better Busse knives than I do, I just have knives Some collectors want to round out or finish up a Collection of a Model or two.

The Original Hole Fastener Prototype, a Badger, was sold to my older Son at the Fall Y2K preparedness Show in Las Vegas in the Fall of 1999.

A couple years later I took it into Temporary Custody in exchange for a nice new Shiny Sword made by Rob Criswell that my son wanted to give to his new bride as a gift.

Now it is Back with him as the rightfull owner (I just take pictures of it and try to tell him that it should not just be thrown in the Bottom of a drawer of Busse knives(I think this one should be in a Safe to be taken out and gently rubbed with a diaper from time to time)

With the Badger came a letter From the Factory stating what it is and the name "Angel Wing" I think, to discribe the shape of the one of a kind handle.

These are my favorite BAs'. I don't have one yet but hopefully will find one reasonably priced sometime down the road.

I know I'm not worthy with any rare SHBA's but here's what I got. :D

Mulder,

Coool.

Did you know that you can use the Screw tilt to identify any particular Busse knife with the slotted Screw handle Fasteners?

No two are the Same.

Yes I am looking for a particular Badger with a Particular Tilt, no it is not in that particular batch, but it did keep me busy for a while looking.

Thank you for Sharing.

Andre,

I have no idea what you are talking about.
Please explain.

Thanks,
dave

Mulder,

Pick any Busse knife with Slotted Screw type Handle fasteners.

Look at the angle the slots face, notice there are two sides to each.

The angles form a pattern, that are locked in place with loc-tite or epoxy.

So with each knife there are 6 comparitive angles.

This can be used to identify a particular knife of this type.

I once sold a particular knife and having pictures of it I look at each slotted Screw Badger to see if I can find it.

Ok, maybe I have to much time on my hands, and maybe I pay to much attention to Busse knives.

I can live with that.
