Does the fact that a model is rare make it more valuable? It could be an unpopular model or one that never caught on or had problems. I have an Almite SE Co-pilot. Someone asked me about buying it but I remember reading a thread from sal some time back that this is one of the rarest spyderco models. I passed on selling it due to that and also quite frankly I had no idea what to charge for it.
Since Spyderco is known for always coming out with new models and droppimg others does this make model scarcity a moot point?

If it's the one with brass liners, it's pretty rare, but not the rarest.
Among the rarest are the dinosaur bone inlay executives (30 pieces made) and blue Aluminum Bob T's (2 or 3 made)

Check out Spyderwa's site for more rare spydies:

If we're talking really rare, we might want to include the Linda Karst Scrimshaw Mokis that are featured in the Spyderco book. There were only 50 made of each design.
