Rask anyone?

Since I pretty much found the last couple of hard to find (for me) folding knives, I’ve decided to add a Rask to finish my collection while I go about picking around custom fixed blades. Any of you all looking for the same?

I can’t for the life of me understand why they’ve made so many Norsemen and so few (relatively speaking) Rasks. If the ratios were reversed, and the Rask easier to buy (and likely less expensive as a consequence), I’d be all over it.

I put my name on the "request and forget list" for one. Figure if I'm lucky I "might" get contacted for purchase in a couple of years?

I agree. Maybe there’s some plan. I’ll snag one sooner or later just like the NIB Paysan and slysz Bowie I found about a year ago. Love those knives and will never part with them. I’ve got the knives I want except for the Rask; I’ll get it the old fashioned way, but I’ll be damned if I’ll enter the hunger games to try to fondle an OZ or a CD shiro; I’ve got the 111 CF and pj neon zero (my fave of all), all manner of CRK top to bottom, two fixed each from each of my favorite custom makers, and one Norseman; rocksteads, and one each of spyderco collabs - except for their franken monster tribute to Lincoln. All spyderco seems to do is variation on a theme. So Rask it is then I’m pretty much done and ready to move along to my new cosmic abode.
Cheers

I got lucky and picked up on them before the hype train had fully left the station. Don't get me wrong, it's a great knife but I don't even begin to understand the hysteria on the aftermarket for them.

Good idea, but I don’t have that kinda time. I may do the unforgivable (at least on this board and plop a 1/3 more to that dusty rip off site east of CA and pick one up. That’s how I got my Arius otherwise I’d still be waiting. I know it’s sacrilege to some, but I at least get what I’m after and that’s what counts. Good luck 🍀 to all you blade hunters out there!
