Rat-2 Custom Scales

I'm still looking for someone that does or has custom scales for the Rat Model-2.

Yes. He no longer does them for the Rat-2. Figured I'd ask again here, just in case maybe some new may know.

I actually think I found a couple custom scales for this knife. I'll post pictures later and the story behind how they came about. Some will find it interesting.

In the meantime, I'll always be on the lookout. This has become my favorite knife to EDC.

Not the best photo, however, I was able to acquire these scales. The seller claims they are Micarta scales for the Rat-2. As you can see, they are only setup for right pocket, tip up carry, which is how I carry mine.

These don't feel like they have all that much more grip over the OEM scales.

I couldn't find anyone that did them so I made some myself. I will post a thread later. In the pics everything was not tightened all the way as I was test fitting them.

They look like legit micarta. You can rough them up with 120 or less grit to get more grip. Start with 120ish and go down from there if you'd like it grippier.
