RAT 2 Manufacture Date

Got myself the RAT Model 2 8860 SP, how do I find the manufacturing date?, is it the first and last number of the bar code on the knife box?.
 
I know with Spyderco's, they have a 2 letter code on the barcode sticker. The two letters J and L, indicating it was made in October, October being the tenth month. J indicates the year, which is December, December being the 12th month of the year. Is there no way of telling when the RAT2 was manufactured?, I've searched online but found nothing.
 
I'll check on this, but I don't think there's anything really showing the manufacture date. I'm not asked that question much though, so I don't know. It wouldn't be anything in the barcode though.
 
Thanks, it's not a big deal or anything, I just wanted to know because I bought it from Amazon Canada. I really like the knife, there was no imperfections in the blade grind, and it came super sharp out of the box. :D
