Just wanted to thank the designers for creating a rugged, useful, and above all convenient tool. I've had my Rat 3 for about 1.5 years, and I have used it on numerous hiking and camping trips. I packed it in my kit for going to AZ to bring a good friend home (his fiance dumped him) and I helped him re-pack all his worldly possessions to come home. Knife performed more on this one trip than it had in all those hiking trips, with multiple people proclaiming (this is a great knife.) It cut all matter of heavy duty zip ties, 550 cord, 1000lbs test cord, webbing, bamboo, flesh! and various other misc. Items. Sorry, no grand survival stories here, but it was at my side from Jerome, AZ back to Massachusetts (roughly 60 hours driving with breaks) and it ate up everything I threw at it. I had a somewhat bigger knife at the ready that ended up not getting used - mostly because the RAT 3 handled everything. Thanks again - I think when my finances improve an Izula will find its way into my kit.
