Rat 3 (ontario version)

Hello all,

I've had an ontario version of the RAT 3 for a long time. I've been wanting to add a couple of new knives to my belt for a while. So I ordered an RC5 (which is sweet) and I ordered another ontario RAT 3. I prefer the ESEE quality and waranty but I like the shorter handle on the ontario version. The shorter handle and lighter design make it a little easier to carry.

But this time... The ontario... Bad choice!

The quality just isn't there anymore! I'm gonna post some pics when I get a chance. Out of the box the edge was terrible! The edge angle was greater on one side than on the other. The scales had burrs on all the angles.

Don't get me wrong... I buy knives to work with... Not to look pretty but the workmanship just isn't there...

I'm very disapointed!

While we appreciate your comments on the ESEE line, we'd rather not have any bashing of other company's knives on the forum.
 
Sorry didn't mean it to sound like bashing... Just wondering if anyone else had an experiance with the ontario versions like that before. If the thread is offencive to anyone... I apologize an request the thread b pulled
