RAT-5 ... Must have!!

I must have this knife. I'll take mine in 1095 rather than D2. I hope they're available soon. The suspense is killing me. I think I will grind down the pommel though.:thumbup:

The RAT-5 does look nice, I hope you will let us know what you think of it when you get one. I have the TAK-1 in 1095, one solid knife! Bought it long before the RAT-5 was marketed.

What is the difference between the tak-1 and rat-5? they look so similar...

That RAT-5 looks like a sweet utility blade. I think that 1095 is a good steel choice for it, too; my experience with D2 (on my Benchmade Griptillian), is that it's a little too hard and prone to chipping for rough blade usage, as the RAT-5 looks to be made for.

The RAT 5 is an awesome chopper. It chops like a knife tomahawk hybrid. I did take the skull crusher off of mine. Here are my RATs.
