Hello all, I am deploying in late March and I am looking for a knife to wear on my body armor. Does anyone know if it is possible to get one before say 15 March? I really want something larger then the RAT 4 and I think the 6 may be to long. I am open for suggestions, thanks! RLTW
 
They're gunna be out real soon. I'm sure you can score one. Check the dealer list and see if anyone has any spots left for pre-order.
 
Thanks for your service. Maybe they will bump you up to the front of the line if it is going to be close to your deployment date.
 
I would think they'll be out before you deployed . I would wait on mine if it meant you got yours first ...

I can help you out on the RC-5 Pre-order. I will give up my own RC-5 to see that you get one ASAP. I reserved a black blade and black sheath for myself. We have a new order in , I don't know if this last order will make the first run cut.

Thats awesome Tom, I knew someone would step up. He can have mine if he wants an OD blade. I can wait.
 
nothing but a bunch of class acts on this site. makes one glad to associate with this board. hope you get your knife before you deploy and stay safe.

also as a iraq vet i can tell you that when i deployed we got our address over there a few weeks before we left so maybe you could pre order it to that address to be safe. just a thought

Wow guys I dont know what to say. I must admit I never expected this response. Thanks to all of you who offered up your slot and I would be honored to purchase one of your knives. I will be in Afghanistan as a Combat Advisor so it should get alot of use as a field knife. CRKS, I hope I will one day be able to return the favor! Thanks again to all of you for your support!
