I made this for a customer, just thought you folks might want to take a look.

BTW, I cut my head off while doing this sheath, been kinda dizzy lately....hoping it will grow back soon ;)

I put 4 double sided grommets on this baby, one is located under the top loop, you can get to it by lifting up the top loop.

There are 2 grommets on the sheath itself. 1 on the bottom and one on the top. With the 2 on the drop down portion, you can lash this to your backpack or whatever you want

Comes with loops for Armageddon Firesteel and Mag. bar
the bottom loop is for an Eze-Lap.

That looks like a very interesting concept. Not quite sure I would like to walk up a steep hill or climb with the glass breaker so close to my familly jewls though :p

But again the craftsmanship looks fantastic

nice setup...

did the customer requested that way?
I am not sure I'd wear my knife like that... but very nice craftsmanship!!!

Verry interesting. I really like the design. I'm on the fence about whether I'd like that or not, but I'm sure your customer will love it.

A few more loops hand he'd have a bandoleer!

It's certainly interesting - sort of like how some people sling their guitars REAL low to play them.

That is some great craftsnmanship! That's a one of the most intresting leather sheath that Ive ever seen. Great work!

It looks great but wouldn't it be more comfortable with the knife at the top?I'd think the knife would bounce and move a bit if you move quickly. Also since I go through thick brush a fair bit, I can see the handle catching on things.I still think it looks great though. Its good to see old time craftsmanship is still alive.

The position of the knife is a bit close to the merchandise with a glass breaker pommel.
Defintely an awesome piece of leatherworking!

I like it but I'd prefer if the blade were near the belt and everything else had below, just for security/retention purposes so it's not bouncing around

Thanks for the feedback.
Actually it doesn't flop around as much as one might think.
The weight and balance keep it quite stable, plus I used a few old tricks in the design to help take care of the flopping issue.
Plus, the drop down feature is great when you sit down.. not unlike a dangler.

I just wanted to do something different. This is so different people are just not accustomed to it yet. It was a lot of fun and it works very well.
