RAT 7 Sheath Issues

I just got my Rat 7. Its a great knife but the sheath doesnt seem that great. I like the cordura and extra pouch but where the actual knife goes seems a bit sloppy and it makes a rattling sound when walking around. The rattling to me is a big deal because I like to be as quiet as possible when stalking deer with my bow.

Is there anyone that produces a sheath covered in cordura like the factory sheath yet has a quieter/tighter fit for the knife?

one of the board members here is Normark and he makes some really nice sheaths but i believe he only does kydex. still give him a try. ahgar

there's a thread around here that delt with this problem a week or so ago just search for rat 7 sheath.

it talks about heating up the sheath that comes with it and making it fit better

Eric at Normark can fix you up, but it's a Kydex (or Concealex) sheath, no cordura, as was mentioned. Top quality stuff, and for only ~$32 your problems are solved. I can't express how happy I am with the RAT3 sheath he made for me.
