RAT bestsellers?

I am curious to know which Rats are the most popular with the knife buying public. Not including mass-purchases by organizations, which RC knife is the bestseller?

+1 for the Izula. Many posters on other forums I visit have the Izula and they love it. Seems like many people need/want a small fixed blade they can take almost anywhere.

Izula for sure, for exactly the reasons posted above.
I would expect the HEST has seen solid sales over the past two months, but suspect it is a temporary blip because it is newly released.
The others are all knives with a narrower market appeal, but build quality and design simplicity are RAT's strong points, so I'd expect them to be constant earners.
FWIW, The SERE RC5 has not made it to the UK yet. Either lack of interest or a lack of market in the UK. I'd suspect both. I imagine the UK market is very small.

I've got a wide variety of knives, and when I hand them to people I get a wide variety of reactions. Some people like this or that. The izula is the only one that always gets a solid, positive reaction. It's a great, versitile little guy.

Izula is probably #1. When I have seen it compared to other EDC/small bushcraft/survival blades, it almost always comes out as the prefered knife. And I would ahve to agree. I am sure the HEST is going to be moving up the ladder too, but I don't think it is only because it is a new release. But because it is slightly larger then the Izula, and the brings an interesting varity of "utility tools" to the RAT line. And lets face it, the RAT line is well known for quality, and the Izula being the lowest priced RAT, with the way money is for most people today, the price point makes a difference.

Izula, and RC-3/4 depending which we have in stock. A lot of folks like the 3 and 4 as general work knives, I've found.

I would expect the Izula to sell well because of the price point, but the RC-3 has been out a lot longer.

.... also izula has one option that the entire rat line does not.... comes in pink NIB.... i know a lot of em sold "im getting it for my gf" if you buy that line atleast

Weeeeel, I don't know, but this "tactical" pink looks more and more appealing to me.:)

Without doing a sales analysis & based on general observation, I think the Izula would be first followed by the RC-4 then the RC-3. BUT... The HEST is coming on very strong!

I think RC-3 would be Best Selling. Everyone I have talked to about RAT knives talks about the RC-3.
RC-3 is how I first heard about RAT Cutlery.

I would think that it is the Izula, than either 3 or 4. Either way, they are all great.

I thought i made a mistake with buying that tactical pink version, BUT i soon realized that 1 pink izula is much better than 0 any izula

Seriously though, i have really enjoyed it. Really easy to spot when dropped, i can use in around sheeple and they don't get so upset as when i pull out my folders  and like they say, nobody else is claiming they own the pink knife so i usually get it back quickly. I still get ribbed on the color choice though.

It's hard to call you a knife wielding maniac when said knife is pink.:D

We used to paint tools pink for that reason. Amazing how long a bright pink sledgehammer can stay around the site.:D
