Rat Carry

Ive used that with a bk11, depending on what kind of shirt your wearing it can be pretty concealed. I think theirs a video on youtube with some guy using it with an izula, you might want to look that up.
 
I haven't used a Merc harness but I'd like to see what it feels like. It seems like it would free up your pockets/belt area and still provide easy access to the Izula.

Does anyone know if there's a video tutorial on how to make one?
 
I don't think it's even figure 8 it just looks like a big loop of paracord that's put over both shoulders. You could make something like that pretty easily. Or if you search on google there are sites where it's a bit cheaper.

The site says it's made out of gutted paracord. And it says that to adjust there are soft rubber grommets. Looking at the pictures to seems like the cord is looped through the two top holes and the put through the grommet that's already on the cord. Effectively making a sliding adjuster. You could just tie a knot that will slide instead of doing a grommet if you decide to make one.

I'm gonna order some paracord soon. I might make one of these harnesses cause then I could carry my Izula easily with me. If someone doesn't get pictures up before that, I'll do some experimenting once I get some paracord.
 
Looks like it would be pretty easy to make. However, I am not sure I would want to carry a knife that way. But, that is just me.
 
Yeah, easy to make, it seems like it would be too high too, at least under a shirt it would be impractical.
 
I personally, do really like the feeling of the cord around my neck. During the fall and inter this harness could be better cause I'll always have a jacket or sweatshirt on that I can have the Izula under. Could be a good way for me to carry it.

Check how this kid does it with the Izula and Mercharness... I made one similar it works like a charm... I wear a blazer most of the time so this technique has afforded me a way to keep it off my waist and tucked out of site...

Thanks for that. I was looking for something just like this yesterday with no success.

So it has another grommet to make it a figure 8 then. Cool design, I'm going to try to make on once I get some cord.
 
geez, that kid in the video doesn't even have hair on his nuts and he's runnin around with concealed weapons. sounds like me when I was 10.
