Rat Chat Authorization

I'm a bit new to the SR world, so please don't hate if this has been answered before... even if a million times. I signed up for the Rat Chat but still haven't been authorized, does it typically take a few days? are they running a background check or something? or am I just an impatient example of the instant gratification internet world?

Also, I sent in an email for a pre-order on a RatManDu, so fricken excited!, do you typically get a pre-order confirmation? or do you first hear back when your knife is ready?

Each of those can take a week or so. I do all of the Rat Chat approvals so we don't get spammers and I usually just do them in batches. Probably be this weekend before I get to them again. Same with pre-orders. I check all of them and then send a note.
