Alright, let's figure out when and where we want to meet up when the Blade Show comes around! I would prefer it be in the evening at some place that sells alcohol. If it's at the same place it was last year, then there is a nice and seedy joint right up the street called Doc's. I have spent many a night up there drinking my face off and they make a killer Rubin sammich. Or if anyone else has a suggestion, please chime in. I won't be able to get out that way until probably about 7:30 or 8PM because I have to work that day, but I'm sure no one will be done by then so if you guys want to meet up earlier, that is cool with me. If anyone else knows what the schedule of events are for those days and knows of a better time to meet up or something, jump in! Let's get this figured out!
 
Mike, Tara and I are good on just about any night except the Banquet night. I think that is Saturday night. No problem on a place that serves alcohol as long as Mike's under-age son can get in the place.

We'll have to figure that underage thing out. We might all have to meet up at a TGI Fridays in the area or something. Pretty much every bar type bar in GA is 21+ pretty early if I remember correctly. Maybe we could take over a Mexican place in the area. I think I might be the closest. My wife used to live over there and knows where everything is. I'll ask her if she has any ideas.

Just about every major restaurant is in the gwinnett area. TGI Fridays, Applebees, and chili's all take in underage people and have a bar there as well.


+1 for taking over a mexican restaurant. You can never go wrong with some nachos and with so many imported/authentic people down here, just about all the mexican joints have a dish that they excel in.

Does anyone have an itinerary for the blade show?

You'd think working for a knife company, I would get to go, but no luck so far...

Gotcha beat 1108 miles... I might not drive to this one.. :/

As far as a place to meet up... as long as they serve fresh coffee, I'm good to go :) and if I do drive down, then I am gonna need it.
 
I'll relay all this to the wife. She's trying to come up with the best place to meet up.
 
Dang I didnt realize that the blade show was so close to me. I would love to go provided my wife who will be 7 months pregnant at the time will let me go. Im in the Savannah area.
 
Pelton called last night and said he will most likely be at the Blade Show if his schedule doesn't change. So, anyone that would like to meet him or listen to some of his World Most Dangerous Places stories, be sure to hook up with us on this RAT night out and/or come by the booth.

Dylside, since you are from the area, once we know a rough number can you make reservations for all of us at a restaurant / beer joint / club/ whatever?
 
Money... only thing keeping me from hitting this one.

They need to host this joint in Oklahoma or better yet, Texas. :(
