Hey guys. Im new here so bear with me please.
Where can i buy the RC-5? Is there a store that i could go into and get a feel for the knife before i buy it cause i would very much like to do that as apposed to buying something online and not knowing what its gona be like. I stay in Norfolk VA USA. Also, is it a good knife? I have never owned a RAT knife before and i am mainly gona be using it as my camping knife that i will be carrying with me when i go into the woods. Main usage, Chopping/splitting wood, cutting, shelter building, hacking. Pretty standard, rough usage. Would this be a good knife for me? Or would the Ka Bar Becker BK2 Campanion be a better choice?

Thanks for reading

New Graham Knives (www.newgraham.com) is located in

560 Virginia Ave
Bluefield
VA 24605
United States.

On their website they carry everything, BUT the RC-5. You should give them a call and see if they have any in stock or somehow arrange for you to try one out.

Take a look at the RC-6 or RC-4 for you camping needs. Most will tell you that the RC-5 is a BEAST of a knife and they prefer their RC-4 or 6 for camp chores. New Graham would be about a 7 hour drive each way for you to hold one.

If you're looking for a knife of such caliber, then you might really look into the cheaper, yet just as good (IMO) BK2.

rc 6 is the knife. The RC5 has a really thick blade and is better for military use.

You can always buy an RC-5 online and return it if it isn't what you thought. We have sold about 90 to 100 of them and not one has been returned.

Our return policy is:

Return for a full refund of the original purchase price if you do not use it.
The knife must be returned in the same condition that you received it
(so basically if you take it out of the box and look at it and decide you don't want it you can return it).
We do not refund the initial shipping fee.
You are responsible for the return shipping fee.

My guess is you would spend that much in gas if you took a little trip to a store to look at one.

The five is a very nice, very tough blade. As much as I lime it, I've got to recommend the rc 6 over it for what you mentioned. The five is a great knife, but the six is just slightly better for the tasks at hand. Either way, your not really going wrong.
