I was looking thru TK mag and there was a picture of some RC knives laying on a table TAK,RC5,RC4,RC3 & a pair of Izulas, I know about nothing new being released until RC6 is on the shelves but the RAT Cutlery TAK looks Awesome ! Jeff can you post a pic of it for us & Specs .Rowen did an excellent job with it !!!

The RC TAK is exactly the same knife as our original design. The pic you saw was from the Blade Show (I didn't think it was in TK though). Anyway, this knife is a ways down the road from being a production piece. Rowen did a great job on the prototype though. As always, grinds are very symmetrical, edge sharpening is perfect, fit and finish on the handle is perfect, etc.

So it'll basically be an RC-4 with an RC-6 handle?

No, the TAK handle was different than any other handle.

Can someone post a picture of the TAK so those of us that don't get the magazine can know what we are talking about? Thanks,

Heber

Don't know about ya'll but I keep staring at the RC-5 SERE!! Can't hardly take my eyes off it!!

Can't hardly stand the waiting for that and the Izula.., makes a perfect pair IMO!

Hey Jeff, have you played with the bow drill on the RC5? Just wondering how that works

We used the exact same divot on the RAT Laser Strike a long time ago. Works great.

will you put the logo on the hadles again? saw it often in some pics, my RC3 and RC4 have only the logo on the blade, on the handles it looks awesome and it'll never wear out...

Maxx

The only knives we ship with the logos on the handles are law enforcement knives (DEA, USMS, etc. ) since the badge goes on the blade where we normally put our logo. In the future though, we might consider that for non-LEO knives.
