Rat Daddy LE help (with a few pics for fun)

Just picked up another Rat Daddy (just LOVE this knife.) I've had a few CGs through the years, currently have 4, but have never had an LE...

The seller was not the original owner and wasn't certain of the knife's history. If it was a CG that was refinished, somebody did a bang up job. I've refinished one by hand and it's not for the faint of heart.

My questions for you guys ----
1. is it possible that SR released sterile RD LEs?
2. Does anyone have a factory swedge on their RD?

I dont think its real, it looks fake to me, if I had to say I would say counterfeit.:eek:

With that being said I will need you to send it to me for furter evaluation.:D

Question. I have a RAT Mastif. How does the RAT Daddy compare. I know it is longer. Is it thinner? Or vertically shorter?
 
Grats on your new blade. That has to be one of the best ever looking knifes from Busse Kin.

I've never had a mastif, but i think they are both 1/4" thick. As you said, the RD is longer, but with a saber grind on the mastif and the full flat on the RD, the mastif may outweigh it in the end???

Both fine blades for sure...

Just checked.....no swedge on mine...........but it may very well be factory. The 2 tone Battle Rats had some with swedges and some without .....depends on the creativity of the grinder?!
