I FINALLY got around to finishing a sheath for my new Rat Daddy (new used that is...)

I added a little sharkskin trim, which was easy to work with and stained out nice.

I must say that this is easily the best Rat to come out of the swamp (IMHO). I absolutely LOVE these things, wish i had 3 of them

Bad bad Rat Daddy!!!

I personally have no leather craft skills but when you slip your Rat Daddy in a nice sheath you know you are ready to rock! That Sharkskin on your sheath really adds depth and contrast to the long sheath. Now take it out and get it dirty!!

Eli,

Fantastic sheath Bro!!! I like the Locket and Chape done with different grade leather.

Blade Steel -- SR101
Blade Length -- 10 1/2"
Overall -- 16 1/4"
Thickness -- 1/4"
Handle -- Canvas Micarta

It's just simply the best, most comfortable chopper out there IMO. I've learned to love the handle design (so comfortable and secure), and the performance of SR101 has been superb.

Wow, that setup is sick! Excellent work, sir.
The Rat Daddy is the coolest. Oh brorher, here's another one added to my "someday" list.
