Got my RC3 and fire kit today as promised. I would like to extend my thanks to Dale for super fast shipping.

I wasn't going to spend $30.00 for a fire steel, but when I saw the offer it motivated me to go ahead and get the RC3 I wanted.

One thing about the RC firesteel is that it is FAR more effective than my ferroceum (spelling?) rod I got from "Light my Fire". Instead of a shower of sparks it throws out a bunch of larger, hotter sparks that burn a lot longer.

A question about the MOLLE locks on the RC3 sheath. Is it normal for the holes not to line up? One of the clips is kinda forced into place it seems by getting the screws lined up and just tightening it in resulting in a bow in the clip. Not an issue. Just a question. Anyway, it now rides on the front of some mag pouches.

By the way, I ordered a OD/orange RC3 from Dale last week, and even had a special request. I got my knife within three days and Dale was there to help me out over the phone with a special problem I had. the-knife-connection.com is now on my small list of knife dealers. Thanks Dale!!!
